CAPE PENINSULA TOUR

This tour runs along the Atlantic Seaboard and a drive over Chapman's Peak (if open) with spectacular views. Continue on route to False Bay. Spend some time in Simon's Town to meet the African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Then on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where you can walk to the Southern tip of the Cape Peninsula. Return along the False Bay coast across a scenic route back to your accommodation.

WINELANDS TOUR

This delightful tour winds its way through the Stellenbosch winelands region. Visit the oldest town in South Africa to see its old Cape Dutch architecture. Taste some of South Africa's world renowned wines at wine estates in the area. You do not have to be a wine lover to enjoy this extraordinary nature tour. Children will enjoy a visit to Butterfly World.

SAFARI

Visit a game ranch in the Karoo; about 2 hours drive from Cape Town. This game ranch offers breakfast, lunch and a 2-3 hour safari led by an experienced guide on an open 4x4 safari vehicle. An unique opportunity in search of the Big 5. Overnight stay available in standard, premier or family luxury chalets.

ROBBEN ISLAND AND WATERFRONT

Visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. (Advance booking essential). The boat departs from the V&A Waterfront. The boat trip, including the tour on the Island, takes about 4 hours in total. Check the weather for a good day before you book. After you return from the island you can spend some time at the Waterfront and maybe enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. Roundabout Tours will transport you to the Waterfront and collect you again at a time of your choice.

RED ROUTE BUS TOUR

Explore the Mother City with the 'Topless' Red Bus. This tour enables you to get to know Cape Town and places of interest. This is a Hop On-Hop Off bus. A bus departs every 20 minutes from the place where you step off. Table Mountain tickets available on the bus. The bus travels along the City and Atlantic Ocean. Several stops along the way: St George's Cathedral, Green Market Square (an African market), Table Mountain, Camps Bay, Sea Point and the Green Point Football Stadium on your way back to the V&A Waterfront.

TABLE MOUNTAIN, CITY TOUR AND WATERFRONT

Introducing you to the City of Cape Town. See the oldest building in South Africa, the Castle of Good Hope; visit the St George's Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in South Africa; the Company Gardens; the Bo Kaap, with brightly coloured houses and stroll along St George's Mall. Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) and afterwards spend some time at the Waterfront, stroll around and get into the feel of the vibe of the Rainbow Nation and people of Cape Town.

MEDITERRANEAN ESCAPE

Enjoy the best the West can offer. Scenic drive through Durbanville Winelands. Relax at the beach with a backdrop of Table Mountain. Walk along the white sand beaches as far as the eye can see. Enjoy lunch at any of the large selection of restaurants. A visit to the West Coast Ostrich Farm can be included.

KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL GARDENS

Kirstenbosch is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch against the eastern slope of Table Mountain. The centenary tree canopy walkway is a new curved steel and timber bridge that winds and dips its way through and over the trees, called 'The Boomslang' - meaning tree snake.

SHARK CAGE DIVING

Plunge into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean for an exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime experience. Shark cage diving is safe for elders and children and gives the whole family a wonderful opportunity to bond in a fun environment surrounded by professionals and researchers with an expert crew on a safe boat. Extend your tour and visit the famous Addo Elephant Park. Join safari trips in search of the Big 5. Return along Route 62 the longest wine route in the world back to Cape Town.
This tour can be done over 4 days and 3 nights or 5 days and 4 nights depending on how much time you have and what you need to see. Roundabout Tours will work out a route/program especially for you to meet with your specific requirements.

A fishing trip at sea can be arranged for those interested in this activity. All fishing gear will be provided.

FALSE BAY COASTAL WHALE TOUR

Depart for Hermanus, the whale Capital of South Africa. July to November is usually the best time to see the Southern Right Whale close to the coast. On the way visit the holiday spots of the Cape and the warmer waters of the Agulhas current of the False Bay. Drive along the coast, stop periodically and visit various little towns as you proceed along the eastern shoreline. Arrive at Hermanus, the whale Capitol of South Africa. Board a boat to experience a close encounter with the largest mammal in the world. Spend the rest of the afternoon in this town, enjoy lunch at leisure before returning along the apple country, across Sir Lowry's Pass with breathtaking views of Cape Town and surroundings.
